Graduate School of Health Sciences
Yüksek İhtisas University Graduate School of Health Sciences was established in 2017 as the Institute of Health Sciences under the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences, in accordance with Articles 3/f, 19, 50, and 65 of Law No. 2547 on Higher Education and Decree No. 41 on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions.
The institute began offering graduate education in the 2016-2017 academic year with the Master’s in Anatomy (Thesis) program. In the 2017-2018 academic year, Master’s in Medical Microbiology (Thesis), Histology-Embryology (Thesis), and Internal Medicine Nursing (Thesis) programs were introduced. The Master’s in Medical Genetics (Thesis) program was added in the 2018-2019 academic year.

In 2020, the institute was renamed the Graduate School of Health Sciences and continued its educational activities under this name. By 2023, new graduate programs were established, including Master’s in Medical Biochemistry (Thesis), Psychiatric Nursing (Thesis), Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (Thesis), and Healthcare Management (Non-Thesis). The institute aims to enhance and strengthen graduate research, theses, and projects in line with scientific and technological advancements while addressing national and global needs by developing new and updated programs.
Currently, the Graduate School offers a total of nine programs, consisting of eight thesis-based and one non-thesis master’s program. The faculty consists of 14 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, and 16 Assistant Professors, dedicated to continuously improving the quality of education and research.
